If you try to use your regular shotgun barrel, choose a very open choke such as cylinder or improved cylinder. Don't use a full choke or some of the after market ported chokes. They are meant for a fully rifled barrel or at the very least a rifled tube. And DO NOT shoot it with no choke screwed into the barrel, with anything be it shot or a slug.

That's a good way to wreck the connection between the barrels and the rib, near the muzzle. That might be worse than shooting steel through an older gun, particularly a full-choked gun.
